Although this site is designed to support any browser, I strongly recommend firefox for the following reasons:

• open source, i.e., for free with a constantly expanding code base
• high security
• tabbed browsing, i.e., multiple web pages are all organized in one browser window
• full Cascading Style Sheets (CSS specifications maintained by W3C) compliancy. Internet Explorer has a poor support of the CSS standard

Google Promotes Firefox

27th of April 2006: Firefox is the first third party product to be featured on Google’s homepage.
